10 Things you might not know about me....

Steph came over to my desk this morning and told me to view her blog. So I did and this is a neat idea. Considering i really have no work today I might as well do this! So this is really a great idea!

1. I'm scared I wont be able to pass my TeXes exam to be able to teach.
2. I love to plan parties.
3. I love high heels. Sometimes I buy them just to buy them. I don't need them. I just want them. I have a lot that i have only worn once or twice.
4. I love to craft, but feel like i really don't have any creativity. Seriously!
5. I love company! I guess its because I have such a big family that i just want to be around people.
6. I am really self-conscious about my weight. I hate it. Sometimes i just look in the mirror and i get disgusted. I know you gotta love yourself for who you are, but skinny is who I want to be.
7. I love reality TV shows. I love love love them. I have no idea why they just appeal to me.
8. I really want a child of my own. I want to be a mother, but sometimes i think i wont be able to have children. I don't want to rush things but man I'm gonna be 29 this year. It will be a very sad day for me if I am not able to conceive.
9. It bothers me when someone i think is a friend turns out not to be. Don't know why, I know I shouldn't care or it shouldn't matter but I DO CARE.
10. I love to eat ice cream in a cup and pour some milk into it. So good!

Hey this was supposed to be fun! lol I enjoyed this activity. I just didn't realize i have more that bothers me than i think. Maybe I will work on that? Maybe.....

Weekend Fun

So Saturday was the BIG SURPRISE!!! It went great! I was able to keep my mouth shut and surprise the heck out of Isaac. Saturday morning I woke up around 6:30am, I know wtf, right? I couldn't sleep so i decided to clean the apt. I scrubbed, I mopped, I washed, I wiped, and I was able to do it all in about 1 hour. Then my sister picked me up around 10AM. We went to watch my nephew's championship football game. They did great!

By 4pm I got home. My sister and I went to get a Mani and a Pedi, it felt so good!!! That is until they bopped my arm. It didn't hurt it just caught me off guard.
We also went shopping for a bit but mostly just hung out. I started getting ready around 5 pm and Isaac was taking his sweet time. I kind of didn't want to rush him but i was like "I'M SO HUNGRY, PLEASE HURRY" lol When he was finally ready i said "Oh, we are going to the Texas Roadhouse on the east side. I need to pick up something for my mom."
OMG, he was so mad!!! I mean mad! I cant stress enough how mad he was! He was like I cant believe you told her we would go ALL the way over there when we are so close to one over here (about 2 miles from where we live). You always do this make decisions without telling me. Now I look like the @-hole. He went on and on and on. He didn't stop. It was the longest 25 min ride ever!!! It felt like we were driving for an hour. All I said was I'm sorry, I didn't think it was that much out of our way. (lol) Then when we finally got to our destination everyone was waiting outside. It was kind of weird too because we got a parking right smack in the front!
I told him to turn around and the reason why we came to this one is for YOU! (ya jerk!!!)

He turned to look at me and started smiling but also with some embarrassment. He also felt really bad. HA ha, GOTCHA!!!! We had such a great time. We all ate, had a few drinks but most of all laughed.

I cant believe I pulled this off. I mean I didn't say a word and neither did any of his friends! It was great.

Buggin.........

Every have one of those days when someone just bugs you and you dot know why?
Well today is that day for me. Its like why the heck are you so angry? Jeez, is it that bad you must treat everyone and anyone who crosses your path like crap? I don't think its that bad.
Anyhow, I guess the key thing to do is just ignore it right? But its so hard to do that which is why I came to vent. If you are that angry and life sucks then do something about it instead of treating others like crap.....

OK, its all out and i feel better!

Happy Birthday Isaac!!!

Today is Isaac's 30Th bday, and he is not very happy about it either. Last night I was able to make cookie dough for a cookie bouquet that I'm planning to make. The cookies are going to be 30 shaped. Not sure what else but we will see. I also made some party favors. I think they came out alright. I just didn't like how the zero came out. But as they say "You are your worst critic". I mean who came up with that one. Whoever did, hit the nail on the head.

This morning I woke up extra early (6:30 am instead of 6:45 am. lol) to decorate our apartment. I went crazy. I put streamers everywhere. In the bathroom, on the doors, on the hall mirror, kitchen cabs, coffee table, hung them on the TV, computer desk, dinner table, and door nobs, and the outside door.

Didn't I tell you that I went crazy?!!!!

Tonight I'm just going to make dinner and my sweet neighbor is buying Isaac a cake. On Saturday I have a surprise dinner planned at Texas Roadhouse and all his friends and family will be there before we arrive. huah huah huah! ( trying to spell the creepy laugh)

Sunshine Weekend

This weekend was a good weekend. The weather was beautiful and I was able to wear capris!!! (which by the way Isaac hates) Friday I got out early because I worked through lunch and so I had some comp time. Isaac and I decided to go watch AVATAR 3D.
Ehhh I could have done without the 3D. Hurts my eyes and can I just watch the movie with shades on....lol After the movie we went to visit our parents.
His nephew Benjamin is walking now we had a good time there.

Off to my parents house.....
Its funny, there is such a difference. My parents house is very loud. AND I LOVE IT!!! We sit within arms length away from each other and still talk loud. But this is how we talk. We are one loud family. When everyone gets together it is so loud no one can hear each other. But again I LOVE IT!!!

Saturday was/wasnt productive. Isaac woke up at 6am and was out by 6:30am. He said the birds woke him up and he couldnt sleep. I owe those birds some seeds or something because he went to wally-world and got a few items we needed. By 10:30 am he was drained. lol WTF, I thought that energy would last all day. We stayed home all day. Isaac studied and I crafted. I made some tile coasters for a friend at work. 7:00pm rolled around and it was UTEP basketball night!!! C-USA Conference CHAMPS!!! WHAT WHAT!!!! They ended up beating UAB by 2 (it was a nail bitter)

Sunday rolled around and I was off to watch Asia's VB game. Which by the way her coaches need a good VB lesson. Asia and I went back to my moms to do some laundry and she needed to do her homework. My dad and I had a Rib Throw Down- bobby flay style. lol It was a draw. My weekend was great!!!
Weather was awesome and I cant wait for more SUN!!!

Tile Coasters

Here is a project I did about 3 weeks ago.
I saw it on the Cricut message board.
I bought regular 2x2 tiles from Home Depot, regular white tissue paper, Mod Podge, and acrylic sealer.
I chose to have different pictures of Isaac and I. They were taken at different locations Camping, Halloween, G2 Bar, and in Corpus Christi

Disappointed

I didn't pass.........That's all there is to say. Planning to take every review session scheduled for this month and on the 1st of April i will take it again.
Disappointing.....
